Right off the bat, the color scheme on the adidas NMD Chukka you see above should look familiar to you. Back in December of last year, adidas introduced the adidas NMD line to the world. The first colorway of the adidas NMD R1 came in a black upper contrasted by the blue and red blocks placed on the white midsole of the shoe. Four months later and we are now seeing the same color scheme placed on the Chukka version of the NMD. The upper comes in a black mesh with hits of black leather, while the Boost midsole comes in white with the blocks coming in blue and red. No word yet on the price of release date of the shoe, but if you’re impatient, you can now pick up a pair at select international retailers for around 139€ ($158).

Author’s Take
The color scheme is classic, but I’d rather see it on the NMD R1 instead of on the Chukka version, which I’m clearly not a fan of.
